What you can do with the data

Read it, sort it, filter it, and use it to decide what to try. You are welcome to quote figures in an article, a video, or a post, as long as you say where they came from and link back.

A few things are off limits: copying the whole index to republish as your own dataset or a competing site, overloading the server so it slows down for everyone else, and presenting our figures as your own research.

Comments and submissions

Comments are open to everyone, without an account. Keep them useful and truthful. Anything in the following list gets removed without notice:

• Spam, referral links, and self-promotion presented as experience.
• Harassment, threats, hate, or abuse aimed at anyone.
• Deliberate misinformation about earnings, or invented experiences.
• Personal information about other people.
• Anything illegal, or instructions for it.

When you post a comment or send an idea through the submission form, you keep ownership of what you wrote and give us permission to publish, edit, and keep it here. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share. Submitting an idea does not guarantee it will be added, and entries are written in our own words after our own research.

Moderation is done by hand and decisions are ours. If a comment about you was removed or should be, get in touch.

The figures come with no warranty

The site is provided as it is. We work hard on accuracy, but we do not warrant that any figure is correct, current, or applicable to you, and the disclaimer sets out what the numbers mean in detail. Nothing here is financial, legal, or tax advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Side Hustle Index is not liable for any loss, cost, lost income, or damage arising from your use of this site or from any decision you make based on it. Some places do not allow limits like that, in which case the limit applies as far as local law permits.

The site links out to platforms and marketplaces we do not control. What happens on other sites is governed by their terms, so read them before handing over money or personal information.
